Content: Every care has been taken to follow your instructions throughout the production of this job, but the final responsibility for accuracy of this proof rests with you, the client. Once you have submitted this form with an approval, you have given us the go ahead to supply a print-ready file for your vendor. If there are any errors on the final artwork, of any kind, which were not alerted to us prior, it is solely the your responsibility. We depend on you proofreading everything carefully. Please check the proofs thoroughly as liability by Graphik Jam, Inc. is limited to corrections only as indicated PRIOR to this final proof.
Color: At Graphik Jam, Inc., we do our best to match the printed colors to the colors on our calibrated screens, however since all devices display color differently, we cannot guarantee print colors will match your screen colors or the colors shown by a printer or third-party vendor, exactly. This also applies to any self-printed proofs you may have examined. There is an acceptable range of color shifting that can occur with any printed piece. Some types of 4-color printing is done at high speeds, and on several different types of printing presses. Other types of printing such as signage, trade show booth panels, etc. use different printing equipment and methods entirely. Backlighting of artwork can also change the color tones and darkness of certain graphical elements. Since we have no way to test artwork, and there are numerous types of lighting and panels, we try our best to adjust for backlighting. We make no guarantees of color fidelity through a lit panel. Our goal is to provide “acceptable” color for all pieces. Even the same piece printed at a different time can yield slightly different color shifts.
Layout: Please make sure all pages/pieces are accounted for, page numbering is correct, table of contents are accurate, phone numbers, web, etc. before approving anything.
Image Resolution: Printing and large trade show displays often require very high-resolution images, as to remain sharp and crisp. We try to maintain this sharpness and will ask if higher-resolution image are available. If not, we will upsample the images to the best of our abilities. This will be reflected in the final PDF proofs. Be aware of this. Upsampling a small image will add artifacts and often slightly blurs details.
Payment: You will be billed after approval is completed. You acknowledge final invoice cost may not reflect original estimated costs.
